About furbd

Technology opens doors.
To education. To work. To connection. But without access to the right device, those doors stay closed for too many people across the Tees Valley.

At furbd, we believe no one should feel left behind in a digital world. That is why we collect, refurbish and reuse donated technology, giving it new life and giving people new possibilities.

How our work reaches people

We work with more than 130 trusted charities, community groups and support services who understand local needs. Together, we make sure technology reaches individuals and families who are struggling without access. That might be someone applying for work, a young person trying to keep up with school, or someone simply trying to stay connected to loved ones.

Every device we restore creates a new starting point for someone else.

A neurodivergent led team, doing things differently

furbd is proudly supported by neurodivergent team members who bring focus, creativity and attention to detail to everything we do.

We believe difference is something to value. Our environment is built around supporting people to work in ways that suit them, not forcing people to fit a rigid system.

That care shows up in every device we refurbish and every relationship we build.
